Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Sinidious (“we,” “us”). They govern your use of Sinidious.live (the “Site”), the Legion Discord bot (the “Bot”), and related features such as Discord Linked Roles and the Twitch, YouTube and Minecraft integrations (together, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

You must be at least 13 years old, and meet Discord’s minimum age in your country, to use the Services. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms. Some features, such as the dashboard, require membership in the Legio Sinistera Discord server.

You sign in with your Discord account. You are responsible for keeping that account secure and for everything that happens under it. You must follow the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

You may hold only one Legion account. Using alternate accounts to gain XP, ranks, votes or rewards is not allowed.

The Services track XP, ranks, specialization tracks, commendations, titles, weekly orders, seasonal standings and similar recognition (“Legion Records”).

• No monetary value. Legion Records are community recognition only. They are not property, cannot be bought, sold or transferred, and cannot be exchanged for money.
• Fair play. You may not farm XP. This includes trading reactions, coordinating fake help, using bots or scripts, idling in voice to collect time, or exploiting bugs.
• Moderator discretion. Moderators may award, adjust, revoke or reset Legion Records to correct errors, respond to abuse or rebalance the system.
• Changes. We may change how XP, ranks, rewards and Linked Roles work at any time.

When you use the Services, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, impersonate or discriminate against anyone.
• Post or submit content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes others’ rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or our systems or data.
• Interfere with or overload the Services, or scrape them in bulk.
• Use the Services for spam, advertising or commercial solicitation without permission.
• Help anyone else do any of the above.

You keep ownership of content you submit, such as clips, project posts and profile details. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display and share that content within the Services and our community channels. This license ends when you remove the content, except where others have already shared it or where we must keep it.

You confirm that you have the rights to everything you submit. We may remove content that breaks these Terms or that we consider harmful to the community.

The Services connect with Discord, Twitch, YouTube, Google and Minecraft. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for them, and they may change or end features we depend on.

The Services are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Discord, Twitch, Google, YouTube, Mojang or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. All other trademarks belong to their owners.

The Site, the Bot, and their design, code, branding and original content belong to Sinidious and our licensors. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable right to use the Services as intended. They give you no other rights in our intellectual property.

You may stop using the Services at any time and ask us to delete your data, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access, remove your Legion Records, or remove you from the community at any time, especially if you break these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive it, including content licenses, disclaimers, limits of liability and governing law.

The Services are a community project provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that Legion Records will be preserved.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Sinidious will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

You agree to defend and hold harmless Sinidiousand our moderators from claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that arise from your content, your misuse of the Services, or your breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. If it is not resolved, any legal action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in the State of Florida. You and we consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Either party may still bring an eligible claim in small claims court.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. We will announce material changes on the Site or in our Discord server. If you keep using the Services after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. If a court finds any part unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms. We may transfer them to a successor operator of the Services.
